The FITE Center for Independent Living works to promote the rights and independence of individuals with disabilities. We are committed to providing training and services to support those who wish to direct their own lives, live where they choose and have access to all the opportunities available within their community.
What We Do
The mission of the FITE Center for Independent Living is to:
- Provide individuals with all disability types the necessary training to support the pursuit of an independent lifestyle.
- Serve consumers with disabilities within our community by providing referrals for relevant services.
- Act as advocates to support the local enforcement of accessibility legislation.
Service Area

As of October 2nd our office will continue to serve our clients now that the state has released the contractual funds committed by the recent budget finalized in July. PLEASE CALL YOUR LOCAL LEGISLATOR TO THANK THEM FOR THEIR RECENT HELP TO KEEP OUR DOORS OPEN!
